• Industry/ Organization Type: Consulting Firm (Construction)
• Position Title: Technical Engineer / Civil Engineering Consultant
• Working Location: Jurong East
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
• Salary: Basic + Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare reports, writes ups, design calculations and technical specifications;
• Prepare 2D/3D drawings;
• Planning and overseeing projects;
• Feasibility and technical studies, including site investigation;
• Site inspection and investigation when required (working time to suit project requirement);
• Liaising with clients, authorities, architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers for coordination and to resolve design and development issues;
• Conduct research and data search (physical and electronic) on topics and Capstone Project (in-house or with other tertiary institutions);
• Making sure project compliance with the latest Code of Practice and legal requirements;
• To attend training courses arranged by the company.

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil & Structural Engineering);
• Recognised by Professional Engineer Board Singapore (PEB); Other Built Environment Degrees (a Degree in Building, Environment Engineering, Architecture etc.) will be considered;
• Able to operate fluently on Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project etc.);
• Able to perform engineering hand calculation to BS and/or EC code of practice (BS 8110, BS 5950, EC2, EC3 and EC5);
• CAD skills (BIM capability with point cloud processing preferred);
• Willing to travel and station overseas.
