Handle the expanding workload in the contracts and claims team.
Overall claims handling in accordance with Claims Guidelines and routines.
Undertake detailed liability reviews of the full range of offshore contracts for members, clients and prospects.
Continuously monitor claims, contract review submissions and operational performance of Clients under his/her responsibility and ensure effective reporting of relevant and useful information to Head of Business Unit, Head of Claims and Underwriting team.
Build strong relationship with embers and Brokers.
Promote Group in the market and partake in marketing efforts like seminars, gatherings and events.
Contribute with articles, bulletins, circulars etc. for marketing and loss prevention purposes
Actively participate in and provide valuable contribution to Support Groups Authority according to levels as defined in Company's Authority levels.
Work in compliance with current policies, instructions and guidelines in company Contribute to an open, friendly and trusting working environment.
Expected skills and competences
At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales or a law degree.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the global offshore and shipping industry insurance market contracting practices.
Ability to lead work of high complexity, and has deep knowledge within at least one subject area
Take strong initiative in claims handling and contract review processes and is considered a role model for less experienced colleagues.
Good communication skills -internally and externally verbal and written.
Language skills - English on high level and preferably Mandarin speaking in order to communicate with clients.
