Job Description

We are currently partnering with a reputable financial services firm to look for a Claims Technology Lead, where this role will be assisting the Head of Technology in forming new Squads while collaborating with stakeholders to devise solutions aligned with business needs, orchestrating system architecture, advising on technical matters, and overseeing the technical team\'s activities.Key Responsibilities:Solution Development

• Assess business requirements to devise solutions and guide the team in implementing them using relevant frameworks
• Contribute to defining technical aspects of Squads, offering insights to address challenges
• Facilitate coordination of architectural solutions across teams and resolve potential discrepancies
• Address inter dependencies between platforms/systems
• Evaluate test scope, approaches, and strategies for claims management/core applications
• Engage in technical discussions with vendors and internal teams
• Enforce architecture and integration standards in collaboration with other architects
• Assess feasibility of development and technical capacity requirements
• Oversee tech delivery and support life cycle management

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant experience in financial sector, preferably in Life Insurance, with at least 5 years at managerial or supervisory level
• Functional domain expertise in Insurance industry is preferable
• Strong understanding of claims processes, applications & systems in the insurance industry
• Solid experience in IT System delivery and project management with sound domain knowledge
