The Van Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods, materials, or personnel using company vehicles. The role requires adherence to traffic regulations, vehicle maintenance, and efficient delivery or collection according to assigned routes and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate company van to deliver or collect goods, documents, or equipment as assigned.
Ensure safe and timely delivery according to schedules and instructions.
Load and unload goods carefully to prevent damage.
Inspect and maintain the vehicle regularly -- check oil, water, tyres, and cleanliness.
Ensure all delivery documents are properly signed and recorded.
Follow all traffic rules, road safety, and company driving policies.
Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
Assist with packing, lifting, or basic warehouse tasks when required.
Maintain good communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients.
Represent the company professionally while on duty.
Requirements:
Valid Class 3 / Class 3A Singapore Driving Licence (or equivalent).
Minimum 1-2 years of driving experience in delivery or transport operations.
Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
Punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious.
Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading activities.
Basic communication and record-keeping skills.
