Inspect containers and vehicles before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records, including container numbers, times, and locations.
Comply with all traffic laws, port regulations, and company safety procedures.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, port staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly to the transport supervisor.
Ensure proper documentation (bill of lading, delivery orders, customs paperwork) is carried and completed accurately.
