Job Description

The Truck Driver is responsible for operating heavy vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment safely and efficiently. The role includes ensuring vehicle maintenance, following assigned delivery routes, and complying with traffic and safety regulations.





Key Responsibilities:





Operate trucks or lorries to deliver and collect goods, materials, or equipment according to schedule.





Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of items during transport.





Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance of the vehicle (oil, fuel, tyres, brakes, lights).





Follow all road safety and traffic regulations at all times.





Maintain accurate delivery records, trip logs, and documentation.





Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.





Ensure cleanliness and good working condition of the vehicle.





Coordinate with warehouse or logistics staff for loading, scheduling, and route planning.





Adhere to company safety and operational procedures.





Assist in general logistics or site duties when required.





Requirements:





Valid Class 4 / Class 5 Singapore Driving Licence (or equivalent).





Minimum 2-3 years of relevant truck or lorry driving experience.





Good knowledge of local routes, delivery procedures, and road regulations.





Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading activities.





Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.





Basic communication and record-keeping skills.
