Role description:

To work as a part of the Global Client Account Management team to drive the client experience agenda across the client businesses and to implement a consistent approach to independent monitoring, oversight and challenge of client activity to strengthen our client governance proposition.
The specific responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following;

  • Client Experience
  • Ensure that clients under your remit receive a consistent level of client service that is aligned with the client opportunity and the client\'s expectation
  • Take an active role, where applicable, with clients across the client lifecycle to ensure that we optimise the client experience and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Client Governance
  • Working as a part of the Global Account Management team, establish and implement a comprehensive Client Governance process to build an enhanced view of our client relationships with regards to activity, risk and suitability
  • Work closely with Front Office Risk and other risk functions to build and deliver the data required to support the client governance objectives
  • Provide independent oversight and monitoring of client activity across a range of pre agreed criteria
  • Ensure that client issues are escalated in a timely manner to the relevant stakeholders to maximise the opportunities to mitigate client risks
  • Identify control weaknesses and areas where client governance can be enhanced
  • Client Prioritisation & Tiering
  • Working with client facing businesses to ensure that clients are prioritised and tiered based on opportunity and relationship
  • Utilise external benchmarking information to better understand the achievable client wallet and work with the client facing businesses and client strategy to help formulate action plans to penetrate these wallets
  • Ensure that client on boarding activities are properly prioritised and that pipelines are aligned with client on boarding capacity
  • Review and make recommendations based on data to ensure that clients on the Nomura platform are satisfying our minimum servicing requirements from a revenue and governance perspectiv

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
  • Minimum a Bachelor Degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 7 years\' experience in an Investment Bank
  • Experience working on a Private Wealth Management platform
  • Project Management or Relationship Management or COO experience
  • A working knowledge of financial and non-financial risks that need to be managed and monitored by the Bank
