Job Description

:

\xc2\xb7 To assist residents in changing their clothes.

\xc2\xb7 To assist residents that need feeding.

\xc2\xb7 To escort residents to and from hospital/clinic.

\xc2\xb7 To attend to residents moving to and from common areas for various activities, as well as assisting in managing residents\xe2\x80\x99 behaviours.

\xc2\xb7 To assist Staff Nurses and Programme Executives in residents\xe2\x80\x99 participation in the various recreational and social programmes.

\xc2\xb7 To observe and interact with the residents in the living or social space, and to assist in preventing residents\xe2\x80\x99 falls.

Qualifications:

GCE \'N\' or \'O\' Level or ITE Certificate in Healthcare (Homecare) or equivalent from recognised training centres

Other Information:

\xc2\xb7 Able to converse in English, Mandarin or Malay in order to engage the residents

\xc2\xb7 Experience in management of Intellectual Disabilities is an advantage

\xc2\xb7 CPR AED and First Aid certified is preferred

\xc2\xb7 Positive working attitude

\xc2\xb7 Teamwork and passion to serve the intellectual disabilities

\xc2\xb7 Able to work cohesively with colleagues from all disciplines

\xc2\xb7 Rotating 5-day work week 2 days off
