SG Client Management (CM) Apprenticeship Program

The Client Management team provides support to the Relationship Managers (\xe2\x80\x9cRMs\xe2\x80\x9d) in the Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking (\xe2\x80\x9cCCIB\xe2\x80\x9d) clients in the Bank across the various stages in the clients\xe2\x80\x99 lifecycle.


The main responsibilities of the analyst / apprentice will be to assist the team in the following areas:

  • Onboarding of clients including the Client Due Diligence (\xe2\x80\x9cCDD\xe2\x80\x9d) process
  • Setup and maintenance of client Channels
  • Coordination of credit related documentation
  • Monitoring of client portfolio / account credit hygiene
  • Working with internal stakeholders such as the RMs and operations teams to resolve client issues
    • Liaising with clients as required to respond to queries / implement initiatives
  • provide support to the Client Management team in both day-to-day and deal specific activities as may be required.


Business
The CCIB portfolio is one of the most crucial within the Bank and includes large local and multinational corporates and global financial institutions and public sector organisations.


The Client Management apprentice is expected to develop a good understanding of the client segments and corresponding client requirements to help the team maintain a disciplined approach to client account management as well as ensuring the exceptional service levels.


Processes
The apprentice will work closely with the Client Management team on client hygiene monitoring with daily responsibilities including:
  • Collate and update details for daily client trade and credit related reporting
  • Liaise with clients to obtain and review transactional details to meet applicable screening requirements
  • Analyse internal data to fulfil CDD requirements
  • Escalate any exceptions on a timely basis as required

  • Graduated with a Polytechnic Diploma with less than 2 years of working experience
  • Have the permanent legal right to work in Singapore

  • Independent worker who can demonstrate robustness in ethnics and resilience
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
