Client Onboarding/ Compliance Officer (Private Bank, Perm)
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with external and internal Regulations
- Review account opening documents submitted by front office and ensuring accounts updated in the system promptly
- Assess AML/KYC risk and approval for risk client relationships booked
- Work with overseas offices to provide input on account opening.
- Review and approve the on-boarding of new client relationships and accounts for individuals and the respective corporate entities and ensure compliance with the bank\xe2\x80\x99s and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Review and assess the Source of Wealth narrative and corroboration submitted by the Front for new to bank prospects and / or existing clients
- Provide advice to internal staff, management and local risk committees on the AML/CFT risk of a client relationship.
- Ensure KYC/CDD issues are properly identified, assessed, and documented.
- Ensure timely assistance and cooperation is rendered to MAS\' and law enforcements\' requests for information.
- Possess Degree with 5 years of experience in Compliance
- Familiarity with local MAS regulatory rulings
- Meticulous and eye to detail
- Team player and independent
- Capability to work under stress and face pace environment
$7000 - $10000
Location: Pasir Panjang, moving to changi business park end of the year
Working hours: office hours 5 weekdays
