Client Onboarding Manager / Senior Client Onboarding Manager

Job Description


The successful candidate will be a key member of a growing team working closely with client/ counterparts and serving internal business partners who develop the processes and controls, and help to specify the systems that deliver accuracy, timeless and integrity to our business.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the due diligence on individual, corporate and institutional clients including information/data collection, checking, validation and verification.
  • Work closely with the sales and traders to ensure efficient and client friendly customer onboarding experience.
  • Understand, process and organize a high volume of case documentation, including sources of funds, documents of incorporation, and general account opening documents
  • Comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements (AML/KYC/CTF) for client onboarding in the jurisdiction which our group entities operate.
  • Provide recommendations to our internal process and control monitoring.
  • Handle administrative and reporting tasks to facilitate and fulfil regulatory compliance and audit.
  • Drive paperless account opening for customer centricity, business resilience, and agile compliance.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in handling client onboarding in Banks Or Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI)
  • Candidates with more than 6 years\' client onboarding experience and proven people management record will be considered for a Senior Manager role
  • Experience to handle institutional &/ high-net-worth individual clients is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations related to client onboarding due diligence including AML & CTF Ordinance
  • Interest to explore and develop a career in the digital asset industry
  • Positive attitude to handle multiple tasks in a highly competitive environment
  • More experienced candidates will be considered for the role of Senior Manager
  • Experience with digital identification, e.g. video identification, in the client onboarding process
  • Good knowledge of contactless, fully digital identification methods, e.g. e-signature
