We are looking for an amazingly well-rounded \'Client Portfolio Manager (Accounting and Tax) to help quickly grow our business in \'Singapore\'!

Position Duties

Client Portfolio Management

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, providing end to end support offering a seamless and comprehensive suite of services encompassing Corporate Secretarial, Accounting, Financial reporting, Payroll, and Tax Compliance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their specific needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Adopt a client centric approach and ensure client satisfaction is met and maintain strong client relationships.
Team Management
  • Lead and manage a team of experts in accounting, corporate secretarial services, compliance, customer support, payroll and tax
  • Provide guidance and training to the team to enhance their knowledge and skills to ensure deliverables are met timely according to scope of services, including enforcing the training framework as per SOP such as compulsory training and certifications, and participating in ongoing improvement process.
  • Foster a collaborative and high performance environment.
  • Exemplify the values and behaviours expected from team members and leading by example in a powerful way way to inspire staff and demonstrate importance of delighting customers.
Accounting and Tax
  • Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks in relation to financial reporting matters.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives and utilise that knowledge on engagement.
  • Review the preparation of full sets of books in accordance with IFRS including revenue recognition, expenses categorisation, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals schedules, general journals and financial reports in relevant cloud accounting systems.
  • Oversee the preparation of Unaudited Financial Statements for clients with or without group structure, including reviewing consolidated accounts to ensure compliance with IFRS .
  • Provide consultancy advice to clients on various accounting, tax & payroll matters.
  • Responsible for reviewing the work of the Accounting team.
  • Oversee the performance metric for completion of corporate tax returns, GST, and payroll submissions including providing feedback to tax manager and/or GST and payroll manager of any anomalies, discrepancies, and/or non-compliance with deadlines.
  • Provide support to tax, GST, and/or payroll functions as and when required.
  • Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
Dashboard Reporting
  • Review dashboards to track key performance metrics, design framework for continuous improvements of metrics for the purpose of achieving customer excellence and quality services.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement and provide strategic recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Recognized degree in Accountancy and/or equivalent professional qualification.
  • CPA / CA / ACCA is a requirement.
  • Ideally between 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably from a professional services firm in Assurance / Accounting / Outsourcing / Client Accounting environment.
  • Ability to prepare Group accounts preferred.
  • Tech savvy with proficiency in manipulating large data sets in spreadsheets such as Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong leadership, people management and team management skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic / VUCA setting.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and client management.
  • Meticulous and detailed.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Singapore compliance requirements on financial reporting, accounting, tax, and payroll
  • Experience with cloud accounting software, Xero will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in XBRL is a plus.
