Job Description


Blackbox is an award-winning* Singapore-based company that provides its clients with decision science solutions, providing consumer, business, and community perspectives on contemporary problems and challenges. We work with Government agencies, multinationals, Commercial and NGOs and regularly conduct our own self-funded polling that we share publicly as a way of contributing to current community debate and dialogue. We also monitor emerging trends both regionally and globally with the main aim of signalling potential changes of significance before they happen or flagging the implications of today\xe2\x80\x99s decisions for the future. The company is based in Singapore (@Alice - next to the MediaCorp building) and currently has personnel based in India, Philippines, Malaysia and China.

Working closely with other members of the Business Design team, the Client Solution Manager will acquire an invaluable understanding of business strategy and commercial acumen. He/she is accountable for clientele\xe2\x80\x99s strategic goals, research goals and support to achieve their desired outcomes aligned with the team\xe2\x80\x99s financial KPIs (revenue and margin commitment) and will be expected to:

  • Ensure that the clients are put at the heart of proposal development
  • Required to engage with a wide pool of clients in public sector and Commercial
  • Build solutions in mixed-method research, including identifying new solutions, fostering strategic business relationships, and responding successfully to research briefs
  • Develop and elevate as a trusted adviser to both clients and internal stakeholders across all business units to foster client-focused approaches
  • Assist in mapping client opportunities and provide market intelligence to the team
  • Work alongside the team to ensure all client data is kept up to date on Salesforce system
  • Provide expert advice and proposal writing throughout the pitching process
  • Manage proposal agreement processes for all clients and ensure proposals are manageable for the business to onboard
  • Proactively seek new methodologies, tools, and innovations to deliver client solutions in different ways to enhance the commercial strategy, by collaborating with other departments
  • Manage Sales Enablement Resources such as case studies, testimonials, Research Frameworks, proposal templates, track records and credentials.
  • Provide strategic insights based on Salesforce data that support the delivery teams in anticipating and executing commissioned projects and guide business strategy
Requirements
  • Degree in Marketing Science, Communications, and Brand Planning, Business or any relevant degrees
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Market Research with a good exposure to Qualitative & Quantitative methodologies
  • Energetic, motivated, and capable of building relationships internally and with stakeholders
  • Proven track record in achieving individual KPIs.
  • Able to drive business within a team.
  • Possess good knowledge (across sectors) and networking skills.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment that requires the ability to multitask and implement high-priority initiatives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, planning, and project management skills with individuals at both peer and management levels.
