Job Description
:The standardised classification and grouping of healthcare data which reflects the complete clinical picture of the patients not only contributes to hospital operational and subvention forecasts, but also allows clinicians to better plan the care of future patients with similar conditions.You are responsible for:
- translating patients\xe2\x80\x99 medical diagnoses, operations and procedures into international classification alphanumeric codes
- expected to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the coding.
- assist with the auditing of the medical records which involves checking on the accuracy of the codes assigned.
- required to work closely with the clinicians to address coding issues.
- Mon to Fri. From: 8.30am to 6pm
- Up to $4,500 + AWS + VB
- Near Outram Park MRT
- Diploma in Nursing / Life Science / Applied Science, preferably with 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant work experience.
- Essential knowledge of healthcare procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Meticulous with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
