Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for the overall co-ordination of mechanical heart devices implantation including assessment of patients on their suitability, management of patients supported with the devices, and assist in the routine investigations for the patients.
- Required to hold discussions with patients and their families to ensure their understanding of the mechanical heart devices programme and conduct device training for patients, family members and staff.
- Perform duties such as wound inspection, wound dressing and assist doctors during the implantation of the device.
- Also assist in the administration of the programme and maintain statistical data, including updating the Registry.
- Mon to Fri. From: 8.30am to 6pm (Mon to Thu) & 8.30am to 5.30pm/ Needs to be On-call or Call-back
- Up to $5000 + AWS + VB
- Near Outram Park MRT
- A State Registered Nurse in Singapore; at least 3 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant work experience in an acute hospital setting. Fresh graduate with Nursing Degree may apply
- Experience in cardiothoracic nursing or operating theatre will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
