ICON people have a mission to succeed and a passion that ensures what we do, we do well.The Role:The Clinical Sample Processor will be responsible for receiving daily shipments of samples and other materials, assessing the samples upon receipt, entering data in ICON\xe2\x80\x99s Lab Database, and storing samples based on protocol specifications.Perform a quality check of controlled forms, scan paperwork, archive visits and other regulated documentation.Barcode labelling and validation of specimens and transport specimens to the technicians in the laboratory to be analysed.Adhere to OSHA and the Company\'s Health and Safety regulations and security procedures at all times and document and research any problems with received specimen.Preparation of sample shipments per shipment schedule, including relevant documentationQuality checking of shipments to ensure correct samples are included and documentation accompanies shipmentsShipment of samples to other ICL locations or referral laboratories per protocol specific requirementsResponsible for receipt of samples into the database and store in samples per protocol specificationsMaintaining sample and shipment documentation in appropriate filesCoordinate courier collections with Logistics to ensure shipments are sent as per protocol specific requirementsEscalating any problems to senior members of the teamAdditional responsibilities as requested by management of Sample ManagementTo be successful in the role, you will have:

• High School or Diploma in the right qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of computers and accuracy and attentiveness to detail

• An alternate combination of experience, education and training by management to be equivalent to the foregoing
