Job Description

The Enterprise Application and Engineering team within KPMG Information Technology Services is dedicated to creating and delivering value to our business by leveraging on IT technology. The team is responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions and high quality IT services internally to enable our business.

As a Cloud Architect in the team, you will work with dynamic team members to plan, design, implement the cloud solutions in line with the enterprise application architecture, IT strategy, business requirements and applicable compliance standards.

The role involves:

• Lead and drive the successful design and implementation of cloud architecture across the enterprise application landscape
• Define, design, and interpret the technical architecture artefacts taken from application requirements, to create solution design, PoC verification, architecture blueprint and technology roadmap with up-to-date cloud native technologies
• Define and apply operation and security best practices when architecting and deploying solutions on cloud platforms
• Work closely with solution architect, project team and external suppliers to produce quality and cost-effective technical solutions to application requirement, including the maintenance of technical documentation
• Assist in project delivery from a perspective of architecting, designing and delivering capabilities to the existing environment from infrastructure through to systems and application
• Maintain technical skills, certifications and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the team specifically in the cloud space
• Understand and adhere to policies and compliance requirements
  

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information System, IT or equivalent
• At least 7 years of relevant work experiences in cloud service delivery, with hands on cloud migration experience for enterprise application preferred
• Cloud professional certification such as Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solution Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Experience in designing solutions utilizing one or more emerging cloud native technologies to deliver business value which are secure, scalable, reliable and effective for adoption will be an added advantage
• Excellent communication, written, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
