Job Description

Senior Infrastructure Engineer with 12+ years of total experience, with a

minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud management





Expert in designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructures across cloud and on-premises environments. Skilled in operating systems (Linux/Windows), networking, storage, virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), and cloud platforms (Azure), with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and security.





Key responsibilities include leading infrastructure projects, optimizing system performance, managing incidents/problems/changes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Experienced in disaster recovery, proactive backup management, and automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform). Adept at mentoring junior staff, reducing costs through optimization, and staying current with emerging technologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills, with a proven track record of delivering secure and scalable IT solutions.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

: Design and manage disaster recovery strategies, backup policies, and high-availability solutions to minimize downtime.

Operations & Service Management

: Handle Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL framework), ensuring service reliability and compliance.

Performance Optimization

: Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune infrastructure for performance and cost optimization.

Security & Compliance

: Apply security best practices across systems and networks, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Project Leadership

: Lead infrastructure projects end-to-end, coordinating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver within scope and timelines.

Mentorship & Collaboration

: Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and foster knowledge transfer across teams.
