Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Database Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize cloud databases (Azure/AWS). You'll be responsible for database setup, access control, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and supporting data governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage cloud database infrastructure (Azure/AWS). Perform database backup, restore, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Implement access controls and role-based permissions. Support database design review, performance tuning, and replication management. Develop and maintain database operation procedures and documentation. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Must-Have Skills:
3+ years of experience in database administration (SQL Server). 3+ years' experience in cloud environments (Azure or AWS). Strong in database performance tuning, query optimization, and replication setup. Good understanding of data modelling and access control policies. Incident management and 24x7 support readiness. Certifications in SQL Server or cloud databases (preferred).
Good to Have:
Exposure to DB2, MariaDB, or MySQL. * Experience in network and server infrastructure projects.
