Cloud Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:Deploying, managing, and scaling applications on the OpenShift Container Platform.
Configuring and maintaining OpenShift clusters.
Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability.
Implementing security policies and procedures for OpenShift environments.
Collaborating with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Automating tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and CI/CD pipelines.
Providing technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in deploying and managing applications on OpenShift.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Understanding of networking concepts and services (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (RHCSA) are a plus.
Optional Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus).
Understanding of container orchestration and microservices architecture.
