An exciting opportunity as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is now available with a large technology firm focusing on delivering digital services.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing infrastructure services that support applications hosted either on-premise or in the cloud. This includes translating application requirements into infrastructure architecture, compute resources, and hosting requirements, as well as providing domain expertise around application infrastructure components and cloud services.

What you will be working on:

• Collaborate closely with the application team to design, implement, and manage the infrastructure services that support application systems.
• Translate application requirements into infrastructure architecture and hosting needs.
• Provide technical expertise in delivering and managing infrastructure services for application systems hosted on-premise or in the cloud.
• Work with service providers to ensure service deliveries meet metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Be involved in supporting resource planning, system performance, infrastructure architecture, and the overall infrastructure operating environment for on-premise infrastructure and cloud computing platforms.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in designing, maintaining, and deploying infrastructure support for servers, backups, databases, etc. (a broad range of skills) and have experience in hardening, patching servers, and capacity planning.
• Involved in designing or reviewing architectural designs and providing inputs.
• Certification in any Cloud Technology platform is a plus point.
• Familiarity with the 3-tier Architectural Framework - App, Web, DB Layer.
• Experience in Cloud Migration, Administration, or Tech Refresh is a plus point.
