Opportunity

The role will expose you to opportunities related to:

• Architect, implement and operate the cloud network and security infrastructure within and across MINDEF/SAF cloud covering its end-to-end security, performance, resiliency, scalability, monitoring and compliance management.
• Identify and lead initiatives to continuously build and enhance the management and performance of the Cloud Network infrastructure and platform.
• Interact with a dynamic group of developers, tenants and operators to design and build technical solutions to provide automation capability to support network infrastructure deployment and operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline
• Proficiency in one or more of the related Cloud Networking and Security Services, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure will be preferred (e.g. Software Defined Networking, Next Generation Firewall, Load Balancer, WAF, Network Encryption, Nutanix, VMWare, HyperV, OpenStack etc.)
• Familiarity in IP networking technologies (eg. BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, TCP, UDP etc.) will be advantageous
• Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies like Nutanix, VMWare, OpenStack, Docker and Kubernetes will be advantageous
• Familiarity with coding and scripting (e.g. VBS, Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet etc.) will be advantageous
• Experience with Public Cloud Services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, etc) will be advantageous
• Strong analytical skills, resourceful, meticulous, a team player and good communicator

Candidates with deep technical competency and experience in Cloud Infrastructure or Platform implementation and operation would be considered for Senior position.
