Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security Transformation team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and managing cloud and endpoint security services, safeguarding SaaS applications, data, and infrastructure. You'll collaborate with teams across the organization to support architecture reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and cloud security operations. This is a hands-on engineering role that combines deep cloud expertise with modern security practices.

• Salary Package: up to $8,000 (basic) + AWS + VB

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement access control structures, resource permissions, and security rules in cloud environments.
• Protect information systems by identifying and resolving vulnerabilities and threats.
• Conduct regular audits and contribute to the resolution of security violations.
• Perform root cause analysis of penetration test results and recommend remediation actions.
• Implement and maintain security tools and controls across cloud infrastructure and endpoints.
• Support cloud-native security operations and develop security standards for infrastructure as code.
• Participate in after-hours/weekend support when required.
• Assist team leads and solution architects with any additional security-related initiatives.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud Security and tools like Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Inspector.
• Solid understanding of Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC) and industry-standard security frameworks.
• Familiarity with OWASP Security Standards and secure coding practices.
• Experience with IDS/IPS/SIEM platforms and conducting log/network data analysis during incident response.
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and open-source security tools.
• Strong knowledge in identity and access management (IAM), including AD, RBAC, SSO, and secrets management.
• Hands-on experience in securing Kubernetes, containers, and Linux environments.
• Experience in hardening SaaS services and applying encryption and data protection controls.
• Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, SANS, or other relevant credentials are preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
