Job Description

Our client, a regional digital asset trading firm, is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to join their growing team in Singapore and help them maintain the highest level of security of their cloud infrastructure. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of our cloud-based systems. You will collaborate closely with our IT teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and applications in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement security solutions for our cloud infrastructure, ensuring best practices and compliance with industry standards.
• Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities. Respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Access Control: Manage and enforce access controls, identity and access management (IAM), and ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place.
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans. Collaborate with teams to remediate vulnerabilities promptly.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS, ISO 27001) and lead efforts for audits and assessments.
• Security Automation: Implement automation scripts and tools to enhance security operations, such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and continuous security monitoring.
• Security Documentation: Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master\'s preferred).
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in cloud security, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance, and best practices.
• Knowledge of container security, serverless security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall management, and vulnerability scanning.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
