YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Cloud Security Specialist will plan, design, implement and maintain system applications in a hybrid cloud environment. The role revolves around accountability for the development of Cloud Security Design framework in the SaaS, PaaS, IaaS environments. The mandate is to prevent all known digital threats targeting Brenntag digital landscape

• 
  Responsible for embedding best practice security through evaluation of SaaS providers
• Responsible for establishing security requirements needed to provide services securely
• Primarily working with Cloud architects, and DevSecOps team to ensure security by design and communication security for the protection of the organization’s services and assets in the cloud
• Ensure proper configuration of firewalls, Network devices, and application security
• Network Security management
• Cryptography (Confidentiality, Integrity, and availability of digital assets)
• Web application Security configuration and management
• Secure SaaS, IaaS, PaaS configuration
• Client and Endpoint Security (EDR/EPP)
• Managing enterprise identity and privileges
• AD, O365, and Azure security
• Vulnerability Management
• Cloud Orchestrations, Integration
• Implement and support the delivery of services with respect to security offerings related to cloud security
• Work with technical and business units across the organization as a security reference point, offering advice, support, and guidance on a wide range of security issues
• Provide technical guidance to the infrastructure and systems team to enforce cloud security controls
• Deploying, migration to and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
• Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application security issues

YOUR PROFILE

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent experience in Information Systems preferred.
• 3+ Years developing and implementing security operations and technology in large, complex enterprises in multiple industry verticals, across a wide range of technology platforms.
• 3+ Years on any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google, others).
• Deep hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale in SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environment
• Experience with service-oriented architectures, private and public clouds, and web services security.
• Strong skills in security principles such as least privilege access, defense in depth, preventative vs. detective controls, Infrastructure and Network Security, Data protection, and Incident response.
• Professional experience and good technical knowledge of application security, system security, network security, authentication/authorization protocols, and cryptography.
• Experience in industry standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27xxx, SOC, HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST/DoD frameworks and benchmarks
• Good understanding of Enterprise Networks, Security, and Identity Access Management.
• Configuration management using CloudFormation and/or Chef/Puppet.
• Experience with agile approaches and Experience in DevOps or DevSecOps and how they impact risk management and compliance.
• Hands-on technical expertise in technology automation, implementation, integration, and/or deployment using scripting and/or IaaC.
• AWS/Google Solutions Architect Certified.
• AWS/Google Security Specialty Certified.
• CISSP, CCSP, CISM, and/or other comparable certifications
• Information security certificates such as; CEH, CISSP, CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
