PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Within the regional Cloud Success Services organization, the Cloud Services business unit is responsible for driving the GtM and adoption of SAP S/4HANA and Cloud LoB solutions through our comprehensive services portfolio.

SAP services touches customers across the entire LACE motion and is uniquely positioned alongside our partners and ecosystem to accelerate digital transformation across industries. The Cloud Services business unit is looking for an engaged professional (f/m) in the role of Services Solution Advisor – Strategic Initiatives. The strategic initiatives could cover end to end sales to delivery and renewal cycles for cloud solutions and services. The candidate must have a strong background in consulting and sales/pre-sales with proven experience across the SAP product portfolio, with primary focus on driving the GtM and adoption of S/4HANA or any Cloud LoB solution in customer-facing roles. The candidate should have a “can do” attitude, a great willingness to learn and good presentation skills.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Collaborate with the Services GtM teams in the region and market units to build and execute business plans around strategic initiatives to accelerate our customers’ journey to cloud
  • Collaborate with Global Services to influence services strategy for successful business outcomes
  • Collaborate with the Market Unit Services leadership to support each individual market unit with agreed GtM initiatives
  • Work closely with SAP APJ regional solutioning centre and delivery teams to identify and drive creation of relevant sales plays and sales collaterals aligned to the overall GTM plan and strategy
  • Influence customer adoption of cloud solutions
  • Work closely with our key partners through the partner management channels to strategize and win together
  • Participate in APJ regional forecasting of services business
  • Tracking and engagement in each Market unit to proactively address issues to avoid risk to deal closure
  • Collaborate with SAP APJ GTM Demand generation and Market Unit teams to build Demand gen plans that secure a predictable rolling four quarter (R4Q) pipeline for services sales
  • Act as an ambassador in internal and external events, partner and customer interactions
  • Customer first mindset and experience in delivering business outcome to customers
  • Create trusted relationships with strategic customers, partners and SAP peers
  • Demonstrate “team work” by working closely and leveraging the strengths of colleagues within and across business units
  • Ensure transparency and predictability of the business on all levels
  • Maintain and adhere to SAP business integrity and compliance standards
  • Expert tracking and realization of financial targets (bookings, revenue) and other strategic KPIs


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years of relevant experience in SAP portfolio sales or pre-sales with specific experience in services complimenting to adoption of S/4HANA or any cloud LoB solution
  • Successful experience in developing and closing sales of consulting and services to support cloud subscription solutions
  • Track record of Pipeline and Opportunity Management success
  • Program / Project management working together in diverse teams to develop and close services sales
  • Evidence of successful deal crafting and strategy development
  • Strong stakeholder management & influencing skills for broad cross function and multi country teams
  • Strong Communication and Presentation experience
  • Results-driven, high-energy, focused, and disciplined individual
  • SAP project delivery experience and direct customer facing experience preferred
  • Proven experience to work with Sales and Presales teams
  • Fluent business English, in speaking and writing
  • Strong team orientation and ability to thrive on virtual, international, cross-functional teams
  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related fields
  • Empathy, passion and confidence… blended with natural curiosity and adaptability


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or Cloud software business development, sales, pre-sales, consulting, project/program management in customer facing roles
  • Deep understanding of SAP product portfolio and services delivery approach
