Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and maintenance of cloud-native platforms, managing the entire software development lifecycle with a focus on technical architecture, code maturity, performance, resilience, scalability, and security.
• Oversee technology risk management and cyber hygiene practices.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices, standards, and methodologies to optimize team performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business, Product, Design, etc.) to define project scopes, requirements, and timelines, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
• Participate in recruitment efforts to expand and strengthen the engineering team.

Key Requirements:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in architecting, building, and maintaining complex scalable platforms.
• Experience in building cloud-native platforms from the ground up.
• Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a complex credit analytics platform.
• Proven success in project management, delivering complex technical projects on time, within scope, and budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Preferably, experience with the following tech stack and infrastructure:

• Golang, ReactJS, MongoDB/PostgreSQL
• Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native data-lake & big data architecture
• Terraform, AWS/GCP
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Bonus Points:

• Experience working with Fintech or other tech startups.
• Experience with cloud-native Big Data Analytics platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps, cyber security, and technology risk management practices.
• Knowledge of the finance domain.
