? Job Responsibilities

As a CNC Machine Setter & Programmer, you will be responsible for:


Setting up and operating CNC machines (e.g., TurnMill, milling, turning) according to production specifications.
Creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs using G-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) is a plus point.
Interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
Performing first-article inspections and quality checks using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Troubleshooting machine issues and adjusting parameters to maintain precision and productivity.
Maintaining detailed records of setups, tooling, and production runs.
Ensuring machines and work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with workplace safety standards.

Job Requirements

We're looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

? Technical Skills

Proficiency in CNC machine setup and operation (3-axis, 5-axis preferred). Strong knowledge of G-code programming and CAM software. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols. Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality control procedures. Basic understanding of tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

? Qualifications

NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining and programming. Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production environment is a plus. Willingness to work rotating shifts or overtime when required.
