Job Title: CNC Machinist - HEAVY (From 5 Tons)Location: QueenslandWork Mode: Full-TimeJob BriefJoin one of our prestigious client\'s dynamic team as a CNC Vertical/Horizontal Boring Machinist. If you\xe2\x80\x99re experienced in operating CNC machinery, interpreting blueprints, and producing precision components, this role is for you. You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be detail-oriented, able to solve problems and work well both independently and as part of the team.Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Vertical/Horizontal Boring machines to produce precise parts as per specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Set up machines, load tools, and adjust settings for accuracy.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues.
• Monitor the machining process and adjust as needed to maintain quality.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent, technical certification, or vocational training in machining is preferred.
• MUST know how to program Fanuc.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, especially with Vertical/Horizontal Boring machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in operating CNC mills and lathes.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
