Set up and operate CNC machines for sheet-metal components in a production environment. You'll handle day-to-day machining with attention to safety, quality, and on-time output.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate and monitor
CNC lathes
(load tools, set offsets, verify first-piece)
Interpret drawings and basic GD&T to meet dimensional tolerances
Perform in-process inspection (calipers/micrometers/gauges); record results
Maintain machine condition, basic troubleshooting, housekeeping (5S)
Work independently to meet daily production and quality targets
Follow EHS/safety procedures and production work instructions
Requirements
Proven experience operating
CNC lathes
(set-up + independent running)
Able to read engineering drawings and use basic measuring instruments
Reliable, steady and quality-focused; able to work independently and as a team
Basic computer literacy for job reporting is an advantage
