Operate and set up CNC machines for production of precision parts
Interpret technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications and requirements of a part
Program CNC machines, input the design specifications and to ensure that the machines perform as required
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines to ensure smooth and efficient operation
Use precision tools (Auto vision system or Electronic Overlay) to measure and inspect finished parts to verify compliance with specifications
Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials to the machines
Adjust machines settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
Maintain record of processes, tool usage, and production output
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Work with engineers or designers for custom jobs or to refine manufacturing processes
Required skills

Knowledge of technical machinery
High level of manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Vocational or technical training in CNC machining or a related field
3. Apprenticeship programs that combine on-the-job training with classroom instruction can be beneficial
4. Certifications from recognized industry institutions, can be advantageous
5. Continuous professioal development to stay updated with new machining technologies and techniques
