Job Description

- Position Title: CNC Machinist (Turning) / CNC Turning Operator
- Working Location: Ang Mo Kio
- Working Hours: 5 days, Mon - Thu (8:30am - 6pm) / Fri (8:30am - 6:15pm)
- Salary Package: Basic up to $2,500 + Fixed OT + Variable Bonus
- Duration: Permanent
- Set up and operate CNC machines, specifically using the Mazak system.
- Interpret Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drawings to understand machining requirements.
- Program and adjust machine settings to optimize performance.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their proper functioning.
- Measure, examine, and meticulously test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, utilizing precision instruments like calipers and micrometers.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on finished products to verify adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace, and strictly adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
- Minimum qualification of Nitec in Electrical/Mechanical or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Precision EDM, Lathe, or Milling machines is an advantage.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings.
- Familiar with Mazak CNC Machine.
