Roles & Responsibilities Colourist
Space Lion Studios is looking for an experienced Colourist to support our dynamic team of post-production professionals.
Candidates should have a proven track record in premium long form colour grading across a spectrum of content genres for major international platforms and broadcasters.
Thorough knowledge and experience of DaVinci Resolve is a must along with strong technical skills and a comprehensive understanding of post-production workflows and formats.
We’re looking for a creative, proactive, team player with great communication and time management skills and a genuine passion and flare for colour grading.
Responsibilities:

• Colour grading of premium long form and short form content from raw footage
• Matching shots across different camera systems / filming conditions

• Supervision of conforms and troubleshooting of XMLs

• Quality Control (QC), identifying shots that need attention and supervising technical fixes
• Liaison with technical support teams for system upgrades / troubleshooting
• Comprehensive understanding of delivery formats for major platforms and broadcasters
• Ensuring creative and technical requirements are met

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of long form colour grading experience including projects for international streamers and broadcasters
• Comprehensive working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve

• Fully conversant with the latest post file formats, software, plugins and industry tech and developments
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Able to work directly with clients
• Keen interest in technology developments in the field of colour grading and post
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude, problem solver and able to work to tight deadlines
• Able to work fast, efficiently and accurately under pressure and to quick turnarounds
