The Wholesale Lending Services Structured APAC team provides global end-to-end loan origination, servicing, restructuring, and trading support. It is also the credit support and documentation partner to Trade & Working Capital under Payments for Core Trade Products. Services are tailored to the needs of the client and lines of business, ranging from bilateral to syndication. These services include Credit & Product Documentation; Credit Transaction Execution & Closing; Syndication Loan Servicing; Secondary Loan Closing & Settlement; Client Support; Risk & Control.

This role will be responsible for the delivery of continuous improvement and data analytics projects and development tactical automation capabilities across Wholesale Lending Services Structured APAC as part of the Transformation and Continuous Improvement (TCI) team.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the execution of all process improvement initiatives & the Post Implementation Review (PIR) Program in evaluating the effectiveness of implemented solutions over a period of time, identify and propose recommendations for strategic transformations
  • Execute process improvement analysis by conducting deep dives to identify and map process, formulate actionable recommendations, design solutions, and quantify operational benefits in partnership with WLS Product, Innovation and Change Management team
  • Drive creation of end state/future state process vision in partnership with cross-functional teams and assist in implementing a culture of continuous process improvement
  • Work in partnership with functional teams to develop, test and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions
  • Interpret and analyze the insights from Tableau-based dashboards & interactive analytic suites to identify and present actionable opportunities and monitor the comparative effectiveness of various initiatives across teams
  • Prepare and automate the data needed for Tableau dashboards, including any statistically derived metrics or benchmarks; and uses multiple analytic tools and data sources to support that objectives
  • Collaborate with Business Management team to design and deliver customized analyses and strategic roadmaps, and synthesize the data into actionable insights to influence and steer decision making for Wholesale Lending Services
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines with minimum 2 years\' relevant banking experience
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of analytical tools, gain and synthesize findings and develop solution
  • Experience in driving process improvement projects with strong results
  • Flexible and willing to accept changes in business priorities and challenges in a rapidly changing environment
  • Good decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) required
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Sound understanding of corporate lending and/or trade finance products and knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau and/or Robotics are preferred
  • Creative thinker with strategic mindset
  • Collaborates effectively across all levels of the organization and ability to lead and influence without having positional authority
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to handle multiple competing priorities
