Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) is part of the JPMorgan Chase Commercial Bank providing lending servicing support to multiple business units across the firm and around the world. The team provides loan documentation; closing and funding; payment and fee processing; syndication loan trade processing; credit administration; collateral perfection and management, customer service and reporting.



General Summary:

The WLS Product Lead role works in conjunction with the leadership team, location managers and line of business partners to ensure that the organization is well-positioned to meet the needs of our clients and the business. This is a fast-paced, multi-faceted role with an opportunity to provide deep impact to the organization.

The individual will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the support for credit transactions - primarily focusing on lending instruments including working capital loans, trade financing and arranged overdrafts including successful delivery across infrastructure, operating model, resourcing, controls and regulatory framework.

In carrying out this role, the key responsibility is the facilitation and management of the governance framework of product support and serving as the escalation point for process discussion. In addition, providing leadership in enhancing process management framework across the region and executing change initiatives on behalf of WLS.

This position will be based in Singapore. Essential Responsibilities:

  • WLS Operations product lead for emerging business initiatives across supported lines of business
  • Primary face off to manage ingestion of new products or deal features across business segments
  • Provide governance around agreed upon deal features with significant focus on ensuring operational feasibility
  • Define internal ownership and accountability model, create and publish product catalog so deal teams have certainty of WLS core product capabilities
  • Contribute expertise in partnering with functional teams on training, upskilling, and process enhancements related to deal review and intake
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with delivery partners across WLS and supported lines of business
  • Establish approach to pilot/rollout new capabilities including objectives and scope, process and procedure, feedback mechanisms and metrics/reporting
  • Demonstrate governance by ensuring that new product initiatives are tracked and actively managed with agreed upon deliverables and KPIs
  • Manage communications and cross-functional forums to inform, discuss and escalate as appropriate
  • Rapid response team to resolve escalations, handle requests that cause significant drain on production focus
  • Ensure synergy in driving common agenda across the region and timely engagement with impacted locations
  • Provide oversight and transparency on location new product and processes across the region

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years\' experience of Credit Administration / Transaction Management / Credit Execution demonstrating strong credit product knowledge; a thorough understanding of the transaction cycle of credit documentation and the associated risks and regulatory requirements
  • Well organized with proven ability to prioritize projects and ensure the organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals.
  • Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills and ability to present precise, concise and summarized analysis to senior executives.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business value drivers and aligning teams to achieve business objectives
  • Leadership, strong people management and relationship management experience, including demonstrated ability to execute via partnership with the Business, Technology and Corporate groups
  • Proactive/self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to identify problems and propose solutions, exhibits initiative to raise issues to appropriate level when needed
  • Strong control mindset, focuses on continual improvement and capacity management
  • Minimum Bachelor\'s Degree
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin would be an added advantage to support clients from China
