My client is a reputable automation solution provider that currently unlocking the possibilities of the new mobility future by delivering innovative software and services that empower utilities, cities, communities, and automakers.
Responsibilities:
Managed various tender / bid preparations (local & overseas) to achieve highest possible quality output. Analyzed Request for Proposal (Tender Document) and defined the bidding strategy as well as commercial strategy. With responsible of organizing the tender team (Engineering, Sourcing, Planning and Finance) to derive a competitive tender submission and eventually win the tender.
Organize and schedule all activities required to deliver tender submission on time
Confirm compliance with client expectations
Validate & review the inputs, assumptions and calculations needed for the offer, eg Tax Guidance, multi-currencies hedging
Prepare cash-flow analysis
Prepare the costing assumptions, tender planning and tender documentations
Prepare the costing and build the offer (selling price) in considering the finance aspects (Taxes, Custom Duties), logistic arrangement (EXW, CIF, DDU), CAPEX and Fixed Assets
Define Quality, Cost and Delivery commitments for all work packages
Comply with Tender Management Processes
Perform risk mitigation and assessment
Complete transfer from Tender to Project launch
Requirements:
Bachelor's in engineering, electrical or relevant.
More than 5 years' experience in tender and bidding.
Experience in railway industry will be a bonus,
Ability to engage with all stake holders to ensure all the financial figures are with good integrity.
Pro-actively liaise with all stakeholders to prepare necessary action to deliver the bids (in terms of all commercial related information and deliverable).
Ability to identify and propose the approach or model to yield the most competitive bid with simulation of different business scenario.
