Commercial Director - International Markets (Confidential Search)

A high-growth premium packaged food and beverage organisation is hiring an experienced Regional Commercial Director (International Markets) to lead and scale its next phase of international expansion across Asia and beyond.
This is the most senior commercial role outside HQ, with full accountability for P&L delivery, distributor performance, market execution, and regional team leadership. The business is active across multiple Southeast Asian markets and is preparing for accelerated entry into new territories.
Reporting directly to the Group CEO, this role combines commercial control with strategic influence; ideal for an experienced regional commercial leader who wants to scale a high-margin, clean-label brand with board visibility and execution autonomy.
Key Responsibilities

• Deliver revenue, gross margin, and trade spend targets across assigned markets
• Build, lead, and manage distributor partnerships and trade execution
• Develop go-to-market strategy by channel and country
• Localise pricing, promotions, and product innovation plans by market
• Lead country-level sales planning and demand forecasting
• Hire, develop, and manage a lean regional team across Asia
• Report to Group CEO and engage with investor board on performance and growth plans

Requirements

• 15+ years in FMCG commercial leadership with full international P&L responsibility
• Background in beverage, dairy, or health food sectors
• Held leadership roles such as Commercial Director, GM, or International Business Director
• Strong success record in distributor-led markets across Southeast Asia
• Commercial rigour across pricing, forecasting, and retail execution
• Experience in growth-stage or PE-backed businesses is preferred
