In this job you will work for the offshore energy division. Our Offshore Energy division supports sustainable energy solutions such as wind energy as well as traditional fossil facilities. Make your mark as Commercial Manager Heavy Marine Transport at Boskalis Offshore Energy! Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive new business opportunities and market growth in the heavy marine transport sector.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and industry developments to identify market opportunities.
• Influence the market and actively assist clients in an early phase with various solutions to create a favorable position and secure upcoming opportunities for Boskalis.
• Identify and engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions that align with Boskalis' capabilities and services.
• Achieve pre-qualification with existing and potential clients to enable bidding for projects.
• Lead negotiations and contract development, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that mitigate risks and maximize commercial benefits.
• Collaborate closely with various internal disciplines, providing commercial guidance and supporting effective project execution and delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote repeat business and enhance Boskalis' reputation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including contract management, pricing policies and business ethics.

Your qualities and experience

• At least 3-5 years' relevant working experience as business development manager, commercial manager or sales manager within the maritime industry
• A bachelor's degree in marketing, economics or related.
• Affinity with the maritime industry, especially Heavy Marine Transportation
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
• Strategic thinking and ability to identify and pursue new market opportunities.

Extra information

• Your team: You will be part of our Offshore Energy, Heavy Marine Transport team.
• Where you will work: You will be based at our Singapore office(23 Gul Road), with occasional travel required for client meetings and periodic visits to our headquarters in the Netherlands.
• Full-time/ part- time job: The position of commercial manager is a full-time job.
