We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and detail-oriented Commercial Performance Intern - Marketplace who can partner effectively and closely with our regional team in Commercial Performance and across foodpanda organization. Someone comfortable with ambiguity to identify business opportunities and drive cross-functional projects would be a great fit.

This role will require leveraging SQL to mine data and Tableau/DataStudio to analyze trends and identify areas to improve Shops vendor menu assortment performance, guiding both regional and local stakeholders to make informed decisions backed by data. This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to learn, collaborate with different stakeholders, and drive impact!

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze product assortment data to derive insights and recommendations that drive strategic business decisions
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and present findings on country performance and seasonal trends
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across regional and local teams to understand business challenges and opportunities
  • Lead data-informed initiatives, and follow through with business recommendations by executing end-to-end tactics
  • Stakeholders you would be working with: Regional and Local Commercial, Business Intelligence, Content and Operations Teams
  • Key projects may include: Product assortment impact analysis, seasonal product deepdives, price benchmarking analysis, inventory management guides, and content optimization (frontend and backend)
Requirements:
  • Penultimate or final year undergraduate students in analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Economics, or similar fields)
  • Resourceful and problem-solving mindset with demonstrated ability to provide actionable business insights and recommendations backed by data
  • Demonstrated experience in telling stories with data in an easy-to-understand way
  • Proficient in SQL (extracting data from complex databases) and interpreting Tableau / DataStudio dashboards
  • Experience collaborating in and leading a team
  • Prior work experience in tech preferred
  • Strong passion in the q-commerce industry
  • Able to commit for at least 6 months full-time/part-time
