You\xe2\x80\x99ll also have the chance to give back and make a positive impact where we live and work through volunteerism.The Commercial Subsidiaries Group (CSG) Relationship Manager is a seasoned professional role that is also a part of the Citi Global Network Bank (GNB).GNB brings together a global network of relationship managers from Citi Corporate Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG), which banks the subsidiaries of its largest multinational clients, and Citi Commercial Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Commercial Subsidiaries Group (CSG) businesses, which bank the subsidiaries of its commercial banking clients. This allows RMs to deliver the full capabilities and reach of the bank\xe2\x80\x99s global network to clients.We\xe2\x80\x99re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Commercial Subsidiaries Group Relationship Manager based in Singapore. In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99re expected to:
  • Call on clients to deepen relationships and proactively owns, responds to, uncovers and anticipates future needs, roadblocks or risks and expectations;
  • Serves as clients\' contact point and is responsible for managing internal departments to address any customer service issues;
  • Works with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients\xe2\x80\x99 individual needs;
  • Works closely with Case Manager on the on-boarding and retention of clients, ensuring the appropriate \xe2\x80\x9cKnow Your Client\xe2\x80\x9d (KYC) and other compliance deliverables are met;
  • Supports the Senior Relationship Managers in structuring deals that balance risk and reward, and also in the research and identification of prospective clients
  • Maximizes client experience by proactive sharing markets updates, trend and intelligence;
  • Prepares /oversees new transaction submissions & annual reviews for the submission to the in-business credit lending management and independent risk department
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm\'s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you\xe2\x80\x99d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and process as well as a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients
  • Core credit skills and an intermediate level of Early Warning Detection skills
  • Ability to close deals and proficiently manage the credit origination process, gather and maintain credit documentation and monitor accounts
  • Ability to work effectively in team setting with excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
  • Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and able to demonstrate innovative approaches to meeting clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs
  • Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience we deliver for our clients
  • Sharp business development focus and demonstrative innovative approaches
