Job Description


Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sous Chefs in preparing fine/semi-fine dining cuisine.
  • Complete preparations of house-made ingredients with proper care.
  • Uphold and maintain kitchen hygiene & safety following Sous Chef\xe2\x80\x99s requirements and established policies and procedures.
  • Able to operate cooking equipment in the kitchen, not limited to, woks, fryers, rice cookers, steamers as well as all common professional cooking equipment found in a kitchen.
  • Maintain organisation, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
  • Any other duties as delegated.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cooking Skills with min. 1-year back-of-house experience.
  • Fresh SHATEC and other culinary graduates are welcome to apply too.
  • Passion for preparing high-quality food with respect for ingredients.
  • High willingness to learn \xe2\x80\x93 training will be provided.
  • Positive attitude!
  • Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Able to perform rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Able to work at Raffles City
