Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and disciplined

Commis Chef

to join our kitchen team at Le Clos. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing kitchen with a strong focus on quality and consistency.





Responsibilities:



Assist chefs in preparation and mise en place for service Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with SFA guidelines Follow recipes and plating standards consistently Receive and store deliveries with proper FIFO practices Support daily cleaning and organization of kitchen stations and equipment Participate in daily team briefings and kitchen operations Uphold food safety and workplace safety standards

Requirements:



Basic culinary knowledge and knife skills Willingness to learn and follow instructions Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic Able to work under pressure and during peak service hours Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
