Lendi is on the lookout for a commissions consultant to join our finance team to support the delivery of high-quality services. Lendi has revolutionised the mortgage industry and is proud to be Australia's #1 online home loan platform.

In an ever-changing regulatory environment, Lendi is leading the charge in developing industry-first technology designed to offer Australian homeowners transparency, simplicity and convenience in their home loan experience. As part of the Finance team, this role presents an opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of commissions in the Lendi Group which includes the Aussie Home Loans, Lendi and Domain Loan Finder brands. What you’ll be doing:

  • Receive all lender files and backchannel messages
  • Perform the reconciliation of all commissions received and paid
  • Calculate the commissions payable on loans by applying channel and tier rates
  • Work closely with technology teams to resolve systems errors and issues
  • Provide support to the Team Leader with involvement in Projects and ad-hoc deliverables
  • Perform calculations for commissions payable by validating business rules and applicable tiers
  • Prepare the payment summary files and reconciliations to enable payout
  • UAT for new processes and business rules being applied
  • Liaising with Brokers and Franchises to provide change updates or resolve queries
  • Develop and maintain reporting on commission payment data, create reporting and manage settlement data from lenders
What you'll bring: Aside from a great work ethic and passion for your role, you'll have the following skills and attributes:
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Prior experience in accounts payable or account receivable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivation with a keen desire to go above and beyond
  • Strong communication skills and a strong team-player
