Develop, review, and finalize commissioning procedures, plans, and schedules for all hull-related systems.
Prepare the necessary systems and subsystems lists and boundary drawings.
Review engineering, construction, and contractual documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Conduct and oversee the execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities at both onshore shipyards and offshore sites.
Perform functional tests and verify the proper installation of marine systems, such as ballast, bilge, inert gas, and cargo systems.
Ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems that arise during the commissioning phase.
Liaise with vendors, construction teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth integration of all hull systems.
Prepare and manage commissioning documentation, including reports, test records, and handover dossiers.
Assist in the compilation of final technical documentation, such as "as-built" drawings.
Complete punch lists, which are a record of incomplete or defective items, and ensure all items are closed out.
Ensure a smooth handover of the commissioned systems to the operations team.
