Job Description
My client, a global leader in the maritime transportation area is looking out for a Commissioning engineer/Service engineer.
The requirements for the role are as follow:
Job descriptions
- Ensure that the product support related to areas of the complaints and the warranty system is properly managed with records maintained.
- Advise customers as required in line with the product manuals and operating procedures.
- Fault finding activities as required.
- Ensure that all complaints, engineering change requests and day-to-day technical queries are recorded and prioritized.
- Assist with interfacing with third party equipment\'s, (engine, gearbox, Dynamic Positioning, Autopilot System interfaces, Monitoring systems etc.)
- Perform system servicing and overhauling as required.
- Complete commissioning reports in a timely manner and update the progress/project logs.
- Provide both on site and remote technical support.
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Marine), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Ability to maintain and develop constructive relationship with external and internal clients, distributors, and operators.
- Independent with team-oriented spirit
