Our client is a leading international contractor specializing in large-scale construction projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality mission critical facilities.They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Manager to join their team for an exciting data centre project in Singapore. The Commissioning Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful commissioning and handover of the data centre facility to the client. This individual will oversee all commissioning activities, manage the commissioning team, and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.Responsibilities: * Commissioning Planning and Strategy:

• Develop comprehensive commissioning plans and strategies in coordination with the project management team.
• Define commissioning scopes, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Ensure alignment of commissioning activities with project milestones and client expectations.
• Team Management and Leadership:

• Lead and manage the commissioning team, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to ensure high performance and adherence to project objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and proactive working environment conducive to achieving project goals.
• Commissioning Execution:

• Oversee the execution of commissioning activities according to approved plans and procedures.
• Conduct functional testing, performance verification, and system integration testing of critical data centre components and systems.
• Identify and resolve commissioning issues, deviations, and discrepancies in a timely manner to minimize project delays.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, design requirements, and industry standards throughout the commissioning process.
• Implement quality assurance measures to verify the integrity and reliability of data centre systems and equipment.
• Review commissioning documentation, reports, and test results to confirm compliance and readiness for client acceptance.
• Stakeholder Communication and Coordination:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for commissioning-related inquiries and communications with the client, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to address commissioning-related issues, resolve conflicts, and facilitate timely decision-making.
• Provide regular progress updates, status reports, and presentations to project management and stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in commissioning management for large data centre, pharma or O&G projects overseas
• In-depth knowledge of data centre systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire suppression, security, and monitoring/control systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure project success.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations applicable to data centre construction and commissioning.
• Prior experience working in Singapore or Southeast Asia region is a plus.
• Flexibility to travel and work in a dynamic construction environment as required.
