The team advises clients on the integration and composition of commodity exposures in their portfolios, and constructs financial solutions to help global commodities clients with their required risk management profile. The Corporate Salesperson is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has latitude to solve complex problems. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information.

Responsibilities:

  • Will help team to service clients in the transactions of commodity derivatives directly with corporate clients
  • Help drive the team's developed strategy across specified product line
  • Aid to achieve specified goals in both market and wallet share for the identified client franchise
  • Originate and execute meaningful and landmark transactions
  • Partner closely with other key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on understanding of client
  • Help foster an environment of collaboration through interfacing with appropriate internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue and to deliver on expertise
  • Ensure and facilitate optimal discussions with the clients with guidance from team leads or Desk Head
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputation.

Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles with proven track record on growing and maintaining relationships through value added service and commercial skills
  • An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Education:
  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
