Join Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets group as a lawyer primarily supporting our Commodity Markets and Financing business in Asia. The division focuses on a diverse range of business activities involving both physical and financial commodities transactions.

What role will you play?
You will support all aspects of the business in Asia, with a focus on trading across a broad range of commodities, structuring of trade finance transactions and supporting businesses to develop commodities financing products and instruments. In addition to providing legal advice to the front office, internal risk and compliance teams, you will also support on regulatory reform and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you offer
5+ years of post-qualification experience in commodities trading and/or finance, gained from within a law firm, financial institution or trading house
Knowledge of commodity markets and familiarity with derivatives and general finance documentation would be an advantage
The drive and commitment to succeed alongside strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
A keen eye for detail and an excellent standard of work with demonstrated commercial astuteness and the ability to demonstrate quick and sound judgment across a range of complex matters
Strong working partnerships with stakeholders and clients and outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
