From metals and energy to environmental and agricultural commodities, our professionals operate at the centre of the markets, developing complete solutions for our commodity clients. This includes providing competitive pricing, financing and in-depth market knowledge. We also help clients manage market and credit risk, and can serve as an important adjunct to M&A activity.

The Commodities Operations team provides best in class support to both the trading and the sales desks for a client base that extends throughout Asia.

Products supported are Physical and financing products across the main Commodity asset classes (Primarily Precious and Base metals, others may include Oil, Softs and Ags). Key responsibilities include:

• People Management, development and creating talent pipeline
• Business, regulatory and infrastructure change management
• Establish strong global partnerships with internal and external stakeholders including Clients, Sales, Trading, Credit, Legal, Technology and Operations
• Key point of contact for end to end Commodities Digital and Platform Services
• Review control and performance indicators, analyzing trends and reporting of issues/errors/breaches
• Manage incidents, provide timely escalation, root cause analysis and implementation of solutions
• Drive the Digital and Platform Services training agenda for the skills of the future (Data &Tech Literacy, Market and Product Knowledge, Continuous Improvement, Client engagement & collaboration, Teamwork & leadership and Risk & Controls)
• Drive Intelligent Automation to enhance Client experience, efficiencies and controls

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years\' experience in Middle Office and or Operations within the banking industry is required
• Knowledge of Commodities products is highly preferred
• Prior track record managing teams is required
• Good analytical skills, control mindset and attention to details
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills; Capable of synthesizing and summarizing complex data or findings to identify next steps and actions
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to demonstrate personal initiative, ownership and accountability
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be flexible to changes to scope and approach
• Calm, well-organized, independent self-starter, capable of self- prioritization and appropriate escalation
• Strong partnership record and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders through the firm
• Effective interpersonal, relationship building and influencing skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent
