• Carry out comprehensive market analysis and research to support data-driven supply and demand forecasts
• Conduct data gathering and analysis pertaining to trade, macroeconomic factors and market trends to generate projections
• Leverage quantitative strategies and/or build financial models to derive insights from historical data and inform strategic business decisions
• Gather market intel on global supply, demand, export/import trade flows and trade policies
• Engage in continuous improvement of data gathering and analytical methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy
• Liaise with a diverse international team to forecast supply levels
• (For a Manager role) Assist management in learning and talent development initiatives

• Quantitative Degree (Bachelor\'s or Master\'s)
• At least 5-8 years of experience in commodity research (could be in a bank, commodity trading firm or information/analytics platform)
• Display a goal-driven approach and exceptional stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Expertise in Excel
